Sýningin verður opin laugardag og sunnudag frá 14:00-17:00

In Akureyri I have worked on my themes perspective, landscape and abstraction, and the transformations of pictures. Usually, I work on different long time projects at the same time and let them grow. In this exhibition photographs combined with texts and sketches are on display.

As I a photographer I often ask myself:

What are impacts of space and perspective for photography, how do they become visual? How is the perception of space changed by texts accompanying the photos?

How is the term „perspective“ extended, e.g. in thoughts, to create a transition from the concrete space into the intellectual, the philosophical, the political space, e.g. also with gestures?

What are the differences between the optical perspectives and the perspectives of thoughts and imagination?

What is the motivation for using space, especially: what is the size of that space resp. how big does it seem to be for us?
