Listsýningar í Flóru og Kaktus í tengslum við druslugönguna

Fimmtudaginn 27. júlí verður opnun á listsýningu í Flóru og Kaktus í tengslum við druslugönguna elsku fólk.
Opnun verður í Flóru klukkan 17.00 (Hafnarstræti 93) og eftir hana verður farið í Kaktus (Hafnarstræti 73)
Einnig verðum við með sýningu í glugga ART AK í Amaro húsinu.

Thursday the 27th of july we have an opening of an art exhibition connected with our amazing Slut Walk.
The opening starts in Flóra (Hafnarstræti 93) at 17.00 after the opening we will walk to Kaktus (Hafnarstræti 73).
We will also have a small exhibition in the window of ART AK in the Amaro house (in the center).

- The art is made by nordic amazing powerful ladies.
- We will have some light refreshments.
- COME AND ENJOY SOME AMAZING SLUT ART.

Hendrikje Kühne / Beat Klein sýna í Deiglunni

Verið velkomin á opnun „Temporary Environment“ í Deiglunni, föstudaginn 28. júní kl. 17 – 20. Léttar veitingar í boði.

Einnig opið laugardaginn 29. júní kl. 13 – 17.

 

Hendrikje Kühne / Beat Klein sýna sex lítil verk sem voru gerð við dvöl í Gestavinnustofu Gilfélagsins í Júlí 2017. Myndasýningin „Car Stills“ sýnir breytilegt ástand bílastæðisins frá eldhúsglugganum, sem breytir því í litríkar abstrakt myndbyggingar. Staðlað landslag er viðfangsefni „Contained Surroundings“, myndröð máluð með hjartanu, svörtum og hvítum vatnslitum. Bæði „Bake-a-View“ og „Landscapes with a Sell-by Date“ leika sér með línuna á milli mikilfengleika málverksins og hversdagleika þess. „The First and the Last of its Kind“ samanstendur af tugum klippimynda í fuglslíki búin til úr notuðum matarpakkningum. „Pop-up Distraction“ fjallar um hið fullkomna landslag eins og er sýnt á póstkortum og bætir við ertingu.

Temporary Environment

You are invited to the opening of „Temporary Environment“ by Hendrikje Kühne / Beat Klein in Deiglan, Kaupvangsstræti 23 on Friday, june 28^th at 5pm – 8pm. Also open on Sat. At 1pm – 5pm.

 

Hendrikje Kühne / Beat Klein present six small bodies of work created while on the residency at Gilfélagid in July 2017. The slide show "Car Stills" shows the changing parking situation as seen from the kitchen window, turning them into colourful abstract compositions. Archetypal landscapes are the subject matter of "Contained Surroundings", a series of painted by heart, black and white watercolours. The unusual presentation adds a special light. Both "Bake-a-View" and "Landscapes with a Sell-by Date" play on the connection between the sublimity of painting and its mundane ground. "The First and the Last of its Kind" consists of dozens of birdlike collages playfully created out of used food packages. „Pop-up Distraction“ takes up the subject matter of ideal landscape as represented in picture postcards and adds a source of irritation.
